Dr. Eli Wercberger is a diligent and caring internist in Brooklyn, NY. He currently sees patients for many chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypertension, heart failure and kidney failure. However, Dr Wercberger's real focus is in preventative medicine, in helping keeping his patients healthy, fit and out of the hospital.
Dr Wercberger is also dedicated to helping his patients with obesity. He understands there is more to weight management than simply "eating less". He works individually with each patient to find a solution that best works for them in fighting obesity.
As part of his formal education, Dr. Wercberger received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of internal Medicine and is a board certified diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr Wercberger is affiliated with New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and is an Assistant Clinical Instructor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in NY.
